The Spirit of the Marathon
The Peace In Africa Marathon 2023 brought to light many stories of tenacity and dedication. A standout chapter in that narrative was the students of Amandlethu Secondary School in Inanda. Their participation wasn’t just about the distance covered on foot, but the strides they’ve made in commitment, teamwork, and zeal.

Acknowledging Dedication
In recognition of their efforts, we presented these promising students with Certificates of Appreciation. The pride on their faces was a testament to the power of acknowledgment and the potential of our youth.

In addition, we were pleased to provide Toughees school shoes to these deserving learners. A functional gift, yes, but also symbolic of the journey they are on – a journey we hope to support every step of the way.

Moving Forward
Our visit to Amandlethu was a vivid reminder of the power of community, unity, and shared goals. As we continue our work, we’re inspired by such experiences, fueled by the knowledge that there’s a generation rising, ready to make its mark.
